BIM modeller (Revit)

Job description:

You have at least an engineering degree (construction/electromechanics/energy/architecture) or equivalent through relevant experience

The range of duties includes:

  • Starting up and developing new projects, mainly in Revit

  • Elaborate concepts in preliminary designs and start notes

  • Build up a 3D model (or part of it)

  • Delivery of qualitative and executable 2D plans

  • Extracting qualitative 3D visualisations, tables and/or other documents from the 3D model (e.g. weights, measurement statements,…)

  • Dimensioning and drawing of 3D elements: pipes, air ducts, cable ducts, ...

  • Making light calculations

  • Think constructively about improvements

  • Work closely with your team of other BIM modellers, EPB reporters, project engineers and the project manager

  • Sporadically attending project meetings with the client and/or other parties, where the work is clearly explained.

Profile:

  • You are an enthusiastic person with a passion for technology

  • You attach importance to collaboration, creativity and continuous learning

  • You have a hands-on attitude

  • You have a feeling for designing in 3D

  • You have at least a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or construction field or equivalent through experience

  • You have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & MS Office
